O retorno após um hiato de uma das bandas promissoras da cena extrema paulista e brasileira.
O Scumunion começou sua trajetória na cidade de Mogi das Cruzes SP FORMADA POR MARCELO VALVERDE (BAIXISTA),ORIGINALMENTE COMO COVEN EM MEADOS DE 2002, COM A PROPOSTA DE EXECUTAR DEATH METAL. A BANDA ATRAVESSOU PROBLEMAS COM A FORMAÇÃO, DIFICULTANDO SUA CONTINUIDADE, PORÉM EM 2003 ENTROU MARCOS TORRES(GUITARRA) POSTERIORMENTE EM 2005, NELSON FRESKI (GUITARRA) E GETÚLIO BONELLI (BATERIA), CONCLUINDO A BANDA PARA A FINALIZAÇÃO DE MÚSICAS PRÓPRIAS: "INSANE STIGMA", "FEAR OF THE SIN", "DRUNK SOUL", "MORTUARY SHROUD", "INTO THE GRAVE" E "MONOLOGUE IN OBSCURITY". EM SETEMBRO DE 2007 GRAVAM O 1º CD, INTITULADO "INCOGNITUS". A TEMÁTICA DAS LETRAS ABORDA PERTUBAÇÕES MENTAIS DE FORMA METAFÓRICA E SARCÁSTICA. EM MAIO DE 2008 A BANDA TEVE NOVA MUDANÇA NO LINE UP COM A ENTRADA DE ALEX PINHO (Neophitus, ex Ancestor) NOS VOCAIS,COM NOVA POSTURA ATITUDE E PROFISSIONALISMO, NO INÍCIO DE 2009 OUVE MAIS UMA MUDANÇA, O NOME DA BANDA PASSANDO A SE CHAMAR SCUMUNION E ASSIM SEGUINDO NA BATALHA CONQUISTANDO VITÓRIAS.
Em Dezembro de 2009 Marcelo Valverde deixa a banda sendo substituído por Douglas Henrique.
Em Junho de 2015 a banda retorna com novo line up, entrando Nilson Nagatomo (Bass) subistituindo D. Henrique.
A banda já tem show para celebrar seu retorno aos palcos.
SCUMUNION Founded in Mogi das Cruzes COVEN with the original name, the band went through changes in training and is now stabilized with new format and with change on their behalf. The band continues to battle Death metal running so honestly and with renewed cheer, that the name change occurs for reasons of copyright but strengthen and renew the spirit for a greater commitment of the members.
